Prudent business management emphasizes the
necessity for CDCs to have a succession plan in place, and in light
of OCRM’s increased focus on succession management and CDC board
governance, NADCO and Susan Brown have created a “Succession Management” training
session for CDC executives and Board of Directors members.
The session will discuss three main
approaches to succession and the CDC Board's vital role in the succession
management process to ever-changing and growing organizations. It is designed
to cater to CDCs in any stage of transition and will help leadership prepare
for any scenario by putting a plan in place and demonstrating that readiness to
SBA as the industry’s regulating body.
Brown has served for
20-years as a CDC Board Member and specializes in designing training for
community financing organizations.
