NADCO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The NADCO Scholarship Program is designed to create opportunities for as many CDC employees as possible to access education, training and industry events.What:
- Up to ten (10) scholarships for individual registrations will be awarded for the NOW Conference
- The selected recipients will receive a registration fee waiver for just the main registration
- The scholarship covers only the cost of the conference registration fee
- The Specialty Workshop and additional training courses are not covered by the scholarship and must be added to the registration at the cost of the attendee
- The scholarship does NOT cover hotel, travel, or per diem expenses
- Recipients are required to stay in the NADCO hotel block
- All scholarship requests must come from CDCs that are current NADCO members
- NADCO will only award one scholarship per CDC.
Who is Eligible:
The scholarships are intended for employees at CDCs that would not otherwise send someone due to financial restrictions. CDC employees that match this description are encouraged to apply for one of the scholarship awards. All information is kept confidential.CDC employees might consider applying for the following reasons:
- The cost of the registration is too much when combined with travel and hotel expenses
- The CDC feels it's necessary to send an additional person, but can only afford one set of registration fees
How to Apply:
- Download and complete the NADCO Scholarship Program application
- Submit your completed application by August 14 via email to Mandy Robertson at mrobertson@nadco.org
- NADCO staff will review the applications (keeping all information confidential) and respond by August 26
- NADCO will continue accepting applications after the deadline only if we have not yet awarded all ten (10) scholarships
- Applicants should NOT register for the conference; registrations will be processed by NADCO once the scholarships have been awarded

NADCO does not endorse nor have a relationship with ANY outside hotel booking agency. If you are called or emailed by a third party asking you to reserve your hotel room, note that this is a SCAM and you should not give your information or credit card info to this company. This company is not affiliated with our conference or the hotel.NADCO does not sell our attendee rosters. Should you receive an email marketing the sale of our conference attendee roster, please note that this is a SCAM. The organization does not have our attendee roster.
CANCELATION POLICY - At-A-Glance
Full refunds less a $75 processing fee are granted through 8/1450% refunds are granted 8/14 through 9/10
No refunds will be issued after 9/10
No refunds are available after September 10. We will gladly transfer the registration to another individual if a refund is no longer possible. ALL cancellation, refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing via email to Mandy Robertson at mrobertson@nadco.org.
SUITCASING AND OUTBOARDING POLICY - At-A-Glance
NADCO values a professional and equitable environment for all exhibitors, attendees and sponsors at our conferences. Both suitcasing and outboarding are considered unethical practices that undermine the event's financial viability and the overall conference experience. To protect the integrity of our conferences, NADCO prohibits suitcasing and outboarding at all NADCO conferences and events.This policy prohibits non-exhibiting individuals, attendees or companies from soliciting business, engaging in promotional activities, and/or hosting events within the conference venue or surrounding areas (e.g., hotel lobbies, restaurants). Suitcasing and Outboarding can include but are not limited to disturbing promotional materials, offering a demo, selling services or goods in any way and/or hosting separate happy hours or other events on-site or off-site.
Enforcement and Consequences:
Adherence to the Suitcasing and Onboarding Policy is monitored throughout the event. All attendees, sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to report individuals violating the policy. A violation can lead to any of the following: a warning, the party being asked to leave the conference, and/or a restriction from participation at future events.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE NOTICE
By registering for NADCO conferences, I authorize NADCO to record and publish all photographs and videos in which I appear or speak that are taken by or for NADCO (the “Recordings”). I agree that NADCO may use, reproduce, publish, perform or distribute these Recordings, for any purpose, including promotional and advertising use, alone or in combination with other recordings, in all media (print and electronic). Recordings may be edited, e.g. to conform to space and time requirements, applicable laws and regulations, telecast and publishing policies, and to insert commercials and other announcements. This right and permission includes, but is not limited to, use of my name, voice, photograph or likeness, and biographical information, to the extent permitted by law. I release all claims against NADCO and others with respect to the copyright, publication, or use of such photographs or videos, including any claim for compensation related to the use of the Recordings permitted herein.RECORDING AND AI NOTE-TAKING POLICY
As NADCO prioritizes privacy, security, confidentiality, intellectual property, accuracy and integrity of information, audio and/or video recording and the use of AI note-taking tools are prohibited at any and all NADCO conference sessions, training courses, live webinars, virtual meetings and special events. Exceptions for accessibility tools for individuals with disabilities or for a request for use due to a specific circumstance require prior approval from NADCO. Guests are only permitted to attend special conference events through the purchase of a Guest registration, which is available for the Tuesday Welcome Reception and the Thursday Beach Bash dinner. This fee does not include any of the general or breakout sessions, breakfasts, or lunches. Guests are not permitted access to any conference sessions, the exhibit hall, or group functions, for any reason, at any time except for the events outlined above. A Guest refers to a spouse, child 18 years or older, partner, or companion who is NOT associated with the SBA lending industry. Guests must wear their identifying Guest badge to attend the Welcome Reception and Beach Bash. To attend conference sessions, attendees must have registered as an attendee at the full conference rate.Note: The 504PAC on the Beach event has a separate registration. Any guests attending the PAC event must also have their own donation to the PAC in addition to the donation from the registered conference attendee.

Our members’ health and safety is our number one priority and we understand that each person will take into consideration their own wellness when deciding whether to attend in-person.NADCO is following the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance in regard to travel, group settings and holding safe conferences. NADCO will also adhere to state, local, and hotel guidelines.
In consideration of your attendance and participation in the NADCO NOW Conference, Fall Board Meeting, and/or Fall Training Events of the National Association of Development Companies and related activities (collectively, the “Activities”), You agree to and understand that you, do hereby forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the National Association of Development Companies, and its past, current, and future officers, directors, employees, members, volunteers, representatives, affiliates, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, “NADCO”) from any and all damages, injuries, losses, liability, claims, causes of action, litigation, or demands, including but not limited to those for personal injury, sickness, or death, as well as property damages and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred, directly or indirectly, now or in the future, in any way related to or connected with your participation in or attendance at the Activities, and any travel related thereto, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
