Brooke Mirenda
Brooke Mirenda is President and CEO of Sunshine State Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO), a certified development company, managing a portfolio of loans over $160MM. SEDCO is a Florida Non-Profit certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration to process, underwrite and service the SBA 504 Loan Program. SEDCO also offers the Community Advantage Loan Program (“CA”), as well as Minority, Veteran and Women Loan Programs. SEDCO was a TOP lender in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), funding over $48 million and over 6900 business in the state of Florida in 2020 and 2021.
In her role as President, she is intimately involved in working legislatively to promote and enhance the SBA 504 Loan Program. She was invited to testify in front of Congress in December of 2019 and again in March of 2022. She is committed to advocating for small business and has a passion for ensuring businesses have access to capital to expand, grow and hire America’s workforce.
Brooke currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Neighborly Care Network, which provides all of the Meals on Wheels in Pinellas County. She is actively involved in Tampa Bay Business and Wealth, Take Stock in Children, National Association of Development Companies (NADCO), CEOs in Schools, Habitat for Humanity, Florida Bankers Association and Florida Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (FLAGGL). Brooke is married with five children and resides in Seminole, Florida.
