Justin Hyde

Justin Hyde was born and raised in Albuquerque and has long had an interest in small business and entrepreneurship, having written informal business plans with friends even as a child. This passion lead him to pursue and earn his BBA from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management with a concentration in entrepreneurship and organizational leadership. Shortly after graduating he began an internship at DreamSpring (formerly known as Accion) and ultimately became a senior loan officer and New Mexico market manager for the company. After financing hundreds of new and growing businesses at DreamSpring, Justin and his wife started a small business of their own. He eventually left his job to dedicate his full time and attention to his family business. After almost two years, Justin recognized his true passion is to help others achieve their entrepreneurial dreams. He closed the business and returned to work in smal business lending, this time at another non‐profit organization called Enchantment Land Certified Development Company (ELCDC) where he now serves as executive director. In its 30+ year history, ELCDC has made over 800 loans, provided financing of nearly $1 billion, and supported the creation and retention of over 12,000 jobs.
