What: Live Webinar Training and Q+A

Why: Effectively reviewing possible project costs and determining which are eligible for the 504 loan program is a critical skill for all CDC staff dealing with borrowers and lending partners. SBA 504 Loan Program Requirements dictate that all 504 project costs must be directly attributable to or necessary for the 504 Project. Why is interest carry on “bridge financing” not an eligible 504 project cost while interest carry on “interim financing” is eligible? What eligible business expenses (EBE) are acceptable in 504 debt refinance without expansion? Join our panel of experts as they share relevant regulations and SOP guidance along with best practices for determining what is and isn’t eligible and how this impacts 504 project sources and uses, including correctly verifying borrower contribution.
