THE 504PAC

Are you joining us for our Special 504PAC Event on Tuesday, May 6th?

WHAT IS THE 504PAC?

504PAC is a nonpartisan Political Action Committee. It is a community, and funds, that support bipartisan work targeted to benefit the CDC industry. It is an important tool in our strategy to advocate for the longevity, relevance, and modernization of our industry.

504PAC FUNDS ALLOW NADCO TO:

  • Educate government representatives
  • Support industry champions
  • Develop new industry champions
  • Keep the CDC industry and the 504 program top of mind
  • Underscore our bipartisan value

DOES THE 504PAC MAKE A DIFFERENCE? YES!

In 2022 alone, Congress increased the regular 504 authorization level by $3.5 billion and combined the regular 504 and debt refinance authorization levels for one cap of $15 billion to ensure small businesses have uninterrupted access to the 504 program. These successes are directly correlated to the strong relationships NADCO has built with the leaders of the Small Business and Appropriations Committees through engagement with members and staff, meetings with CDC representatives, and donations to respective campaigns. Each of these tools is an integral part of our government relations strategy aimed at ensuring robust economic development through a thriving CDC industry.

504PAC DONATIONS

Please note only 504PAC members are eligible to donate to the 504PAC. All donations must be personal (and not from a CDC). A maximum of $5,000 can be contributed to the 504PAC each year and contributions are not tax deductible. 504PAC funds are overseen by the NADCO staff, in consultation with the PAC Committee Chair.

504PAC EVENTS

In order to attend 504PAC events, your CDC must have a 504PAC Communication Form on file with NADCO. Once you have a form on file, you are able to hear from the 504PAC (led by NADCO) to keep up to date on current 504 government relations news and contribute to the PAC on a voluntary basis.
