Note from the Secretary


As previously announced, Wayne Williams has resigned as NADCO Region 3 Director and joined the NADCO staff. The NADCO Region 3 Board seat is now open, and per our bylaws, NADCO is conducting a special election of Region 3 members to fill this vacant seat.  The nomination period has now closed and voting is now underway. Voting will take place electronically for a two week period from May 27 – June 10, 2020. The elected person will serve out the remaining term for the Region 3 seat until the October 2021 NADCO Annual Meeting.

Summary of Electronic Process

The election process will take place in electronic format. The eligibility requirements for regional directors remain the same. To be eligible the individual must be a full-time employee of a CDC that is an active member and in good standing. There can only be one Board representative from any one CDC.

Nominations for Regional Directorships must come from a CDC within that respective region. All nominations will be accepted via the electronic election email box.

All candidates will be responsible for their own campaigning. Once the nomination period has closed NADCO will post the names and bios of each eligible candidate on the Region 3 Special Election Page on the NADCO website. 

Each active-member CDC in good standing will have one vote. The vote should belong to the President, Executive Director or equivalent leadership role. Votes will only be accepted via the electronic survey method.
