Rental Car Shuttle buses operate between the terminals and the Rental Car Center, every 10 minutes; however, it operates "on demand" between 1:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

While the Rental Car Center is open 24 hours a day, travelers should check with their car rental agency's reservation center for hours of operation at OAK and make arrangements for special arrival and departure requests.

Picking Up Rental Cars
Take the Rental Car Shuttle from terminals to Rental Car Center. If you are picking up a vehicle from an off-airport rental car agency (Advantage or Payless), you will have to transfer to an off-airport rental car agency shuttle. Please call from the terminal or Rental Car Center to arrange a transfer at the Rental Car Center.

Dropping Off Rental Cars
If you are returning to an on-airport rental car agency, you will return your vehicle to the Rental Car Center. If you are returning your vehicle to an off-airport rental car agency, you will need to take the off-airport rental car agency shuttle to Rental Car Center to transfer to Rental Car Shuttle for transportation to terminals.

The Rental Car Center is located directly across from Terminal B. Terminal B passengers can walk across Airport Drive at the crosswalks from baggage claim to reach the Rental Car Center. Terminal A passengers may take any Airport blue shuttle bus to or from the Rental Car Center.
