Description


Taught by Sheri McConville from SBA and Peter Janson from the CSA, this course will discuss key servicing topics relevant to the industry. Over the course of the morning, instructors will cover 1) the new Corporate Governance repository in CDC Online 2) the new Closing document repository in ETRAN, 3) ACH Debit Updates and Address Changes system modernization projects, and 4) the newly developed Loan Funding Dashboard. Supervisory Program Analyst for Capital Access Financial Systems

Sheri McConville is a Supervisory Program Analyst for Capital Access Financial Systems and the systems operations Deputy. She has been working for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) since 1994, first as a contractor and more recently, as a federal employee. Sheri’s responsibilities include the management and oversight of all of the Office of Capital Access Financial Systems, which include CLS, E-TRAN, GPTS, and PIMS.

Peter K Janson

Central Servicing Agent (CSA)
Financial Services Management Consultant

Peter has served as the Central Servicing Agent (CSA) operations manager for the past five years working closely with Wells Fargo, who is the operations team performing the CSA functions. Peter has responsibility for the daily CSA activities including the onboarding of new debentures through the funding process, the collection, disbursement and reporting of borrowers’ monthly payments, prepayments, accelerations and other functions performed on behalf of the SBA. In 2017, Peter and his team completed the migration of CSA systems and integrated them into SBA’s Capital Access Financial Systems (CAFS). He is supporting SBA on their modernization activities for the 504 program. Prior to his tenure with the CSA, Peter worked on various Financial Service projects including complex bank closings for State and Federal regulators, as well as, foreclosure reviews during the financial crisis. He also worked as an auditor on the financial statement audits for one of the largest financial institutions in the United States. He has an MBA/BS degree from the University of Scranton in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Carson Mullins Pigg is an analyst with the 504 Central Servicing Agent. She coordinates 504 modernization efforts as part of the CSA’s Project Management Group, and her work includes identifying potential process improvements, gathering user feedback, managing technical development and training, and collaborating on ongoing strategy.
