First elected to the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) Board as an At-Large Director in 1997, Tim served two years as the association’s Vice President for Membership and Training. In this capacity he oversaw the development of NADCO’s Loan Liquidation Course. In 2000 he was elected Vice President of Technical Issues and during that time served as the association’s liaison to SBA. He was elected President in 2001 and served two terms in that position. From 1997 to 2009 Tim was active in NADCO’s training program teaching the Intro To 504 Course, Basic Portfolio Management Course, Advanced Portfolio Management Course, and the Lender Training Course.
For 20 years Tim served as Director of Economic Development for the South Plains Association of Governments (SPAG). In March of 2005 he was promoted to Executive Director. SPAG is a Council Of Governments (COG) that includes 15 counties located on the Texas South Plains. As the Executive Director of SPAG he is responsible for the oversight of the organization’s Area Agency on Aging, Regional 9-1-1, Homeland Security, South Plains 2-1-1, Regional Law Enforcement Academy, Economic Development, and Regional Services programs.
He also serves as Executive Director of Caprock Business Finance Corporation, an SBA 504 Certified Development Company.
