Sasha Globa: “Leslie has been the consummate professional at SBA – extremely knowledgeable, responsive and always willing to help. Working with Leslie has been an absolute pleasure for our team and we thank her for her many years of leadership and public service.”
Joel Stiner :“Leslie has had a long and distinguished career as a federal public servant as well as a banker. She represents the finest in what public service offers the American taxpayers and small business owners. Leslie leaves behind a legacy of leadership and service that will benefit the Center for years to come. I got to see in Leslie someone who cared deeply about the finance, legal and support professionals who serve at the Center. And, she also cared deeply about our lending partners and the mission of SBA. She will be missed very much by all of us.”
Leslie has served as the Deputy Director of the Center since 2010 and prior to assuming that position she worked closely with CDCs as the Assistant Center Director for 504 Liquidation. Leslie joined SBA in April 1987. Leslie plans her last day to be Friday, December 26, 2014. Those wanting to share a farewell message can email her at Leslie.Niswander@sba.gov.
