NADCO is pleased to announce that beginning with our October 2001 training series in Baltimore, Maryland, The Professional Development Recognition Program!
The Professional Development Recognition Program is designed to make NADCO training a more comprehensive and valuable resource. The program offers you the opportunity to concentrate on the NADCO training most useful to your position and goals. By completing groups of courses pre-designated by NADCO, you will attain the most comprehensive education.
When you have completed the designated curriculum, you will be awarded a special certificate of completion in recognition of your professional growth and accomplishment within the 504 Industry.

Closing (Attorneys & CDC Staff) -
Required Courses:
CLOS 101 - 504 Loan Closing
CLOS 201* - 504 Loan Closing Update
CLOS 202 - Legal Aspects of 504 Servicing
*PLEASE NOTE: In order to maintain Designated 504 Closing Attorney status with the SBA, attorneys are required to take CLOS 201 - 504 Loan Closing Update every two years after completing CLOS 101 - 504 Loan Closing.

The "Masters Degree" of the 504 Lender! For completing the Packaging/Credit Analysis, Servicing and Closing Series , you will receive a special certificate of completion and recognition in "Certified News", NADCO’s monthly newsletter.
Course Level Numbering Key:
101- Requires Introduction to 504 or six months’ substantive 504 experience
201/202 - Requires completion of appropriate 101 level course
301 - Requires completion of appropriate 201 level course.

REQUIREMENTS
Attendence
Completion of the entire course, including testing (if applicable) is required to receive credit for that course.
Time Frames
You will have 24 months from the time of completion of the first course in the series to completion of all required courses in order to receive your Certificate of Achievement.
Testing
Most courses include a final exam to measure your mastery of the materials. A passing grade of 75% is required for the course to count towards completion of a series. No credit can be given if the test is not completed.
Tracking
NADCO will track completion of series requirements and issue certificates when a series is completed.
Grandfather Clause - As many NADCO members have already completed certain requirements towards a certificate, registrants will be "grandfathered" into the program from the Eastern Regional Meeting Training Series which took place in Destin, FL in August 2000.
