How Are Course Materials Distributed?

NOTE: It is vital that you check your online Training Groups prior to arrival in New Orleans!

Course materials for 2015 Fall Training will be posted 2-3 weeks prior to the training session and will be accessible through the NADCO website.

All students enrolled in a course will be added to the Training Group associated with that particular course. You will need login information in order to access the Training Group. If you are not a NADCO member and do not have an account, email hmcnelis@nadco.org to obtain one. Once the course materials are posted to the Training Group, you will receive an email notification with directions to access your Training Group.

Once in your online Training Group, you will find course information and documents for download. No documents will be provided to you at training. You must download these documents on a laptop or tablet and bring that device to class OR you may print the documents to use during in-person training.

In some cases, a list of course materials may be included in your group. If included, these lists require the attendee to bring certain materials to class.

What Should I Bring?

Please come prepared to learn. Course Materials will be available online for you download by October 27, 2014. Each instructor will provide you with instructions regarding the materials that you must bring for his or her class.

How you bring these materials with you to class is up to you.
Option 1: Bring a laptop or tablet with all of your materials already downloaded on the device.
Option 2: You can print hard copies of the materials to bring with you. If you are printing hard copies and do not want to carry them on the plane, you can ship them to the hotel and have them there for pick up when you check in.

PLEASE NOTE: NADCO will NOT be providing any hard copies of course materials. We are attempting to be more environmentally responsible and are reducing our paper usage. Should you find yourself without materials during class for any reason, there is a business center available at the hotel for printing.

The documents will remain online in your group settings until Fall Training begins.

Where are the classrooms?

Registration, breakfast, breaks one classroom (the Orpheum Ballroom) are all located on the Second Level of the hotel.
