Best Practices from the Bay Area

There are plenty of things to love about the Bay Area: the spot that gave us The Grateful Dead is also home to delicious clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl by the pier, Bridges (oh yes, there’s definitely bridges) and an economy that --even with its ups and downs-- has benefited immensely from Bay Area Development Company, a CDC headquartered in Walnut Creek with additional offices in Fresno and Arcadia, California.  

 

And as we continue our look at what REAL 504 lenders are doing right in marketing, it’s only fitting that one of the highlights includes Bay Area, specifically its website.  

 

What We Dig About What Bay Area is Doing

 

Tag you're it. The company’s tagline: "Real Estate Financing for Growing Companies” speaks directly to Bay Area’s target audience. 

 

White space is good space. The site looks professional. While there’s plenty of content to discover, the home page keeps a look of professionalism with plenty of white space. In fact, text is kept to such a minimum, it’s hard to believe they’re a financial institution.

 

Drop downs that elevate. Remember the expression, "What goes up, must come down?” Bay Area’s drop down menu makes it easy to stay "up with it.” The "Client Successes” section  is a new a refreshing header to the typically labeled. Found alongside the expected and necessary "504 Benefits,” "FAQ’s” and "About Us” sections, "Business Successes” pulls the reader in for stories of what is possible, not just present.

 

Selling ad space to themselves? You want prime real estate in advertising? The home page is the obvious answer, and Bay Area does it right with a side bar showcasing its support of Vetloan Advantage program. The placement of the add simultaneously promotes Bay Area’s Patriotism, and is just different enough from the rest of the website to not deter from the over all look and feel. It’s more than just listing a link to a website, it’s smart branding through association.

 

Overall, Bay Area Development Company’s user friendly and professional approach to its hub of online marketing is doing so many things right for Bay Area and REAL 504.  A salute and well wishes for Bay Area in NADCO's Marketing March Madness Awards.
